Facilities

The College is located in the center of the San Fernando Valley in the city of Reseda. Housed in a business building, the College is equipped with large classrooms, a beautiful clinical lab with patient simulator manikins, a library and computer lab, central heating and air conditioning, lunch area, student study area, and plenty of free parking. There are many healthcare facilities in the area where our students practice clinical training under the expert guidance of our clinical instructors. The clinical settings for our students include acute hospitals, sub-acute & rehabilitation services, maternity and pediatric facilities, and outpatient ambulatory care which ensure proper training in all areas for learning the scope of practice of the Vocational Nurse.

 

Tuition

Due to the high number of referrals and very little advertisement from the College of Nursing & Technology, 

we are able to offer extremely competitive cost. We have affordable payment options.

The College is pleased to offer the following approved programs: 

Vocational Nursing, CPR & First Aid Certification (Special partnership),  and

Medical Assistant - Not currently offered.

Vocational Nursing

Nursing is a respected and secured career which will offer you a starting salary of $23 per hour. Employment of Licensed Vocational (or Practical) Nurses is expected to grow much faster than the average according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment Projections program.


The College of Nursing & Technology is approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT). Also, we are very proud that our graduates are maintaining above average NCLEX Pass Rates for 5 years in a row with a pass rate of 100% in 2019 according to the BVNPT published Pass Rates.


The Vocational Nursing Program is designed to educate and train graduates to be able to enter a vocational nursing position, providing expertise in a variety of medical knowledge and skills that will enable them to provide nursing care in settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, residential care, home health, doctor offices and clinics, and private nursing care.  This is a fast paced, very comprehensive, hands-on program supporting any serious student to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse in under 2 years.

  • Evening / Weekend Classes and Clinicals:  Each schedule takes place 3 nights during the week from 5pm to 11pm and 1 day during the weekend from 9am to 3pm.  The program runs approximately 19 months. 
  • Daytime Classes and Clinicals:  The daytime class takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 2:30pm. The program runs approximately 16 months. 


The total cost is currently $21,000 (all inclusive).  We have payment options with $3,500 minimum down payment and monthly payments spread over the course of the program with NO finance charges or interest.

CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers) and Heartsaver First Aid

The College of Nursing & Technology takes pride in our partnership to offer our students convenient on-site American Heart Association (AHA) CPR and First Aid certifications. The AHA-approved instructor, Lucien Badica, has more than 20 years of teaching experience with an extensive work history in the medical field and provides state-of-the-art equipment to train our students.
Classes are usually held on a weekday evening and include a book and Certification. Every participant will receive a certificate of completion from AHA at the end of the class.If you are interested in receiving additional information for the cost and current schedule for certification, please call Mr. Badica directly at (818) 339-6549 to reserve your seat.
